Every spec, no guessing

The Xerox 6050 Wide Format Solution is a mono wide format CAD/AEC plotter built for architecture, engineering, and construction document shops doing 1,000-3,500 D-size plots per month. It prints up to 9 D/A1 prints per minute at 600 x 1200 dpi with a 23-second first plot out on roll media up to 36 inches wide. Standard configuration includes 4 roll drawers — operators keep bond, vellum, film, and a backup roll loaded for non-stop work, which is the main reason shops pick the 6050 over the 6030 (2 rolls). The optional integrated wide format scanner scans concurrently with printing at 600 x 600 dpi for scan-to-print and scan-to-network workflows; the optional Multi-Sheet Inserter handles non-roll media. Footprint is 37 x 49.2 x 25.2 inches at 683 lb on 208V / 12A. Maximum monthly volume tops out around 17,500 sq ft; toner yields about 23,500 sq ft per cartridge. Workflow runs on FreeFlow Accxes Print Server (TCP/IP, AutoCAD / HPGL / HPGL2 / CALS drivers). Color touchscreen interface for walk-up. The 6050A variant is the later firmware version supported on the same Accxes platform. Buyer regret: spec'ing the 6050 when AMPV is closer to 5,000 plots/mo — at that volume the 6204 (and especially the 6279) is the better starting point. Best for AEC shops at solid mid-volume that need 4 rolls in a tight footprint.
