The Xerox WorkCentre 6605DN is a color laser MFP built for small offices of 5-15 people who need print, copy, scan, and fax in one letter/legal box. It runs 36 ppm black and color simplex, 24 ppm duplex, with first page out around 9 seconds black and 10 seconds color at 600 x 600 x 4 dpi. Standard paper capacity is 700 sheets across the 550-sheet Tray 1 and 150-sheet multipurpose tray, expandable to 1,250 with the optional 550-sheet feeder. The 50-sheet duplexing ADF handles two-sided originals at 22 ipm B/W simplex, and the scanner pushes to SMB, FTP, email (LDAP), USB, or WSD. Duty cycle is 80,000 pages a month but Xerox's recommended monthly print volume is 5,000 — that's the honest number for toner economics. Connectivity is USB 2.0 plus Gigabit Ethernet standard; Wi-Fi is an optional adapter (097S04409), not built in. Footprint is 16.9 x 20.8 x 22 inches at 71.7 lb on a desk or stand. The thing buyers regret: paying for color and then printing mostly black-and-white invoices — at 1,000 pages/month with 5% color, the per-page cost is fine, but if you only ever print mono, the Phaser 3330 or a mono MFP saves real money.
