Xerox AltaLink C8155

The Xerox AltaLink C8155 is the high-volume model in the AltaLink C8100 color tabloid family — a floor-standing A3 color laser MFP built for departments of 50 to 100 users that need in-house 11x17 color at production-class speed. It prints and copies up to 55 ppm in both color and black, scans at 82 ppm simplex / 141 ipm duplex from the 130-sheet single-pass DADF, and is rated for a 300,000-page monthly duty cycle. Standard paper capacity with the high-capacity tandem tray is 3,140 sheets, expandable to 6,140 with the optional 3,000-sheet HCF. The 10.1" tablet-like color touchscreen runs the full ConnectKey stack (Workflow Central, App Gallery, Fleet Orchestrator), and security is enterprise-grade (Trusted Boot, Trellix Embedded Control whitelisting, Common Criteria, FIPS 140-3, McAfee ePO and Cisco ISE integration). Connectivity is Gigabit Ethernet plus USB 2.0 standard; Wi-Fi is an optional kit. Finishing options include the Integrated Office Finisher, Office Finisher with Booklet Maker, BR Finisher, and BR Booklet Maker Finisher with C-fold/Z-fold — fully outfitted, this works as a small in-house print shop. Buyers regret: paying for 55 ppm color when their actual color volume is under 30% of total. If color is occasional, the AltaLink B8155 mono (id 1386) is the same chassis at 55 ppm with much lower per-page cost.
