The Konica Minolta AccurioJet KM-1e is the refreshed B2 sheet-fed UV inkjet digital production press, built for commercial printers and packaging shops that need true B2 digital color on offset-size sheets. The press handles a maximum sheet of roughly 23 x 29.5 inches at 1200 x 1200 dpi using UV-cure inkjet, which means jobs come off the back end ready for finishing without a separate cure or laminate step on most stocks. It prints on coated, uncoated, board, synthetic, and plastic substrates up to 24 pt, with an optional perfecting unit for two-sided work. The KM-1e is the second-generation engine of the KM-1 platform — same chassis and footprint, refreshed inks, expanded substrate range, and improved workflow. The press sits between toner digital and offset: it does what an AccurioPress C14000 cannot (B2 sheet, board substrates, offset-class registration on packaging) and what offset cannot (short-run digital with variable data, no plates).
