Print resolution is 1800 x 600 dpi equivalent at 256 grayscale shades, and the monthly duty cycle is rated at 120,000 pages — most installs we've sold sit between 2,000 and 8,000 pages a month, well within reasonable wear. Standard paper input is two 500-sheet drawers plus a 150-sheet bypass; max capacity is 3,650 sheets across the optional PC-208 or PC-409 cabinets. The 8.5-inch color touchscreen is the differentiator at this price point — it makes scan-to-email, scan-to-folder, and User Box workflows actually usable for non-technical staff. Color scanning runs 70 ipm at 300 dpi via the DF-621 reversing ADF, with destinations to email, FTP, SMB, USB, WebDAV, and Scan-to-Me. Finishing is modular: FS-527 50-sheet stapler with optional punch and 60-page booklet maker, or the smaller FS-529 inner finisher. The thing buyers regret: most useful features (User Box, encrypted PDF, OCR, Scan-to-USB) require the HD-516 hard drive option and the UK-203 memory upgrade.
