The bizhub PRO 1100 prints B&W at 105 ppm on A4 stock with refreshed engine reliability over the PRO 1051 and improved coated stock handling. Designed for commercial print shops and in-plants pushing 250,000 to 1,000,000 B&W pages a month. Stock support reaches 350 gsm with the PB-503 perfect binder, SD-506 saddle-stitch finisher, and high-capacity stacker LS-506. The IC-308 Fiery controller is the standard add-on for VDP and imposition. Multifunction adds scan and copy, although in production environments the unit runs as a press. One regret: at 105 ppm the PRO 1100 is the same engine speed as the older PRO 1051 — what you are buying is improved duty cycle and current parts availability. If your monthly volume is below 250,000 pages, the bizhub C658 or C754e MFP is more economical per page.

The drum unit (DR810) is separate and usually lasts 15,000 to 30,000 pages before it needs replacing. At a typical small office volume, expect to change it once every 2 to 4 years.
