Konica Minolta bizhub PRO C6500
The bizhub PRO C6500 prints color and B&W at 60 ppm on 13x19 stock up to 300 gsm and was Konica's mid-tier production color press in the previous generation. Multifunction with walk-up scan and copy plus standard Fiery IC-304 or IC-307 controller. Designed for in-plants and commercial print shops running 50,000 to 200,000 color pages a month. Optional perfect binder, saddle-stitch finisher, and high-capacity stacker. One regret: the PRO C6500 is end-of-current-generation Konica hardware. Service support continues but Fiery firmware updates have slowed and parts availability is thinning compared to the current C1070/C1085. Most replacements move to the C1070 family for ongoing parts and current Fiery features. PRO C6500 still earns its keep at refurbished pricing for steady-state in-plants.
