Xerox Color 1000 Press

The Xerox Color 1000 Press is a cut-sheet production color press for commercial print shops, in-plants, and marketing services providers running 150,000 to 400,000 color clicks a month. It prints at 100 ppm letter / 50 ppm A3 / 50 ppm SRA3 across all weights from 55 gsm to 350 gsm coated and uncoated — no speed throttle for heavy stock. Print resolution is 2400 x 2400 dpi VCSEL ROS with Xerox EA Low Melt Dry Ink (CMYK plus optional Clear specialty dry ink for inline gloss effects). Monthly duty cycle is 1.75 million pages. Standard paper capacity is two 2,000-sheet trays (4,000 sheets); the optional Oversized High Capacity Feeder adds another two 2,000-sheet trays for 8,000 total. Sheet sizes range from 7.2 x 7.2 inches (4 x 6 with the optional tray inserter kit) to 13 x 19.2 inches (330 x 488 mm). Auto-perfecting duplex at full rated speed up to 350 gsm. Finishing is modular: Catch Tray, High Capacity Stacker (5,000-sheet offset stacking), Standard Finisher (3,000-sheet stacker, 100-sheet stapling, 200-sheet interposer), Booklet Maker Finisher (saddle-stitch up to 25 sheets / 100 imaged sides), SquareFold Trimmer, GBC AdvancedPunch, GBC eBinder 200, and DFA-attached options including Plockmatic Pro 50/35 and CP Bourg BSF. Print server is your choice of Xerox FreeFlow Print Server or Xerox EX Print Server powered by Fiery. Power: 200-240 VAC 50A single-phase, sole use, Hubbell C8264-C connector. Footprint is 118.5 x 43 x 74 inches base, 3,027 lb. The thing buyers regret: choosing the Color 1000 over the 1000i and then wishing they had Silver/Gold metallic dry inks. The metallic specialty dry ink station is exclusive to the 'i' configuration. If there's any chance you'll want to print metallic effects inline, spec the 1000i up front.
