Xerox DocuColor 7000AP is the AP-bundled variant of the 7000 — single-function (no copy/scan) cut-sheet color press with the high-capacity feeder, PowerPak controller upgrade, and advanced color profile included. Monthly duty cycle is 525,000 pages, paper capacity reaches 6,755 sheets standard with the HCF expanding it further, and stocks 60-300 gsm up to 14.33x19.21 inches are supported. Resolution is 2400x2400 dpi, and the EFI Fiery EX 7000AP handles VDP, ICC, and JDF. Inline finishing covers stacker, booklet maker, and SquareFold. One regret: same EOL caveat — refurb only with guaranteed parts and toner. Don't pay new-machine pricing. The press supports VIPP and FreeForm 2 for variable-print direct mail, and integrates with FreeFlow Process Manager for automated routing alongside other Xerox production devices in the shop. Xerox dealer service contracts on this class typically run $0.04-$0.08 per color page and $0.008-$0.012 per B&W page depending on minimum monthly volume committed. The single-function form factor saves about 12 inches of footprint versus the equivalent MFP.
