Konica Minolta bizhub 5020i

The Konica Minolta bizhub 5020i is a compact desktop A4 mono laser MFP for small offices and workgroups of 5-15 users. It prints and copies up to 52 ppm letter, scans at 52 ipm simplex / 104 ipm duplex via the 80-sheet single-pass dual-scan ADF, and is rated for a 150,000-page monthly max duty cycle (recommended 10,000 pages/month for sane toner economics). Standard paper capacity is 570 sheets (one 520-sheet drawer plus a 50-sheet bypass), expandable to 1,610 sheets with optional cassettes. Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n is standard — no separate UK-221 module needed — along with Gigabit Ethernet and USB 2.0. The 4.85-inch color touchscreen is smaller than the 10.1-inch i-Series panel on the 4750i, which keeps the price down but makes complex scan-to-network or workflow setup more menu-heavy. First-copy-out is 9.5 seconds (slower than the 4750i's 4.3 seconds) — first job feels sluggish, then it cruises. The thing buyers regret: assuming this is the same UI as the bigger i-Series. The 5020i is the value model in the family — fast print, basic panel.
