IC-308 Fiery controller is the standard add-on for variable data and imposition. One regret: dropping scan and copy means the unit cannot serve as a backup MFP if your office bizhub goes down, so plan for that gap. The print-only chassis costs less and takes slightly less floor space than the multifunction 1250, which makes it the right pick when you already have separate scanning hardware in the plant.
