Lexmark CX830 Series
The Lexmark CX830 Series (current shipping config: CX825de / CX825dtfe) is a floor-standing A4 color laser MFP for workgroups of 25-75 people printing and copying 5,000 to 25,000 pages a month. It runs 55 ppm in both black and color at 1200 x 1200 dpi with first page out at 6.5 seconds and integrated duplex on print and scan. Standard paper capacity is 650 sheets across two trays plus the multipurpose feeder; expandable to 4,500 sheets with optional input modules. The 150-sheet single-pass duplex DADF (CCD scanner) handles mixed-size originals at production speed. The 10-inch color touchscreen is the same operator UI as the CX9 series. Connectivity is Gigabit Ethernet plus multiple USB 2.0 ports standard; Wi-Fi requires the optional Marknet card. The thing buyers regret: assuming the CX830 is A3-capable. It is not. The CX825 series is A4 / Letter / Legal up to Folio — for tabloid color you need the CX961 / CX963 (CX960 series) or the CS963e print-only.
