Xerox C315

The Xerox C315 is the smallest color multifunction in the current Xerox lineup — a desktop A4 color laser MFP for home offices and teams of 1 to 10 people that need color print, copy, scan, and fax without a floor-standing footprint or a managed-print contract. It prints and copies up to 35 ppm in both color and black at letter size (33 ppm A4), with a duplex speed of 17 ppm. The 50-sheet Reversing ADF handles two-sided scanning (one side, then flip — slower than single-pass), and the platen tops out at 8.5 x 11.7 in./A4. Standard paper capacity is 251 sheets across the 250-sheet main tray and a single-sheet manual feed; the optional 550+100 Sheet Tray pushes total to 901. Duty cycle is 80,000 pages a month with a recommended 6,000 — Xerox sets that conservatively because per-page color toner costs add up at higher volumes. Connectivity is solid for the price tier: Gigabit Ethernet, USB 2.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi Direct, AirPrint, Mopria, and Chromebook support — all standard. The 2.8" color touchscreen is small but functional. Buyers regret: outgrowing it. If your monthly volume creeps past 4,000 pages, the per-page cost stops being a bargain — step up to the VersaLink C405 or C505. If you need tabloid (11x17), this is the wrong machine entirely.
