Konica Minolta bizhub 350 Multifunction Printer
The Konica Minolta bizhub 350 is a discontinued B&W A3 multifunction printer launched around 2005, designed for workgroups of 15-30 people that needed mid-volume tabloid-size output. It runs at 35 ppm B&W on letter/A4 and 19 ppm on 11x17/A3, with a first-copy-out around 4.5 seconds and a roughly 28-second warm-up. The monthly duty cycle is rated at 150,000 pages, but most installs we sold sat between 3,000 and 10,000 pages a month. Standard paper input is two 500-sheet drawers plus a 150-sheet bypass; max capacity is 3,650 sheets with the optional PF-502 paper feed cabinets. The 8.5-inch monochrome touchscreen LCD was solid for its era but feels generations behind today's 9-inch tablet panels — workflows take more clicks. Print resolution is 600 x 600 dpi with smoothing. Color scanning runs to email, FTP, SMB, and HDD User Box via the optional DF-605 100-sheet reversing ADF. Finishing options include the FS-507 50-sheet stapler, FS-508 booklet finisher (saddle-stitch up to 50 sheets), and PK-501 hole-punch. The thing buyers regret: it predates current cloud workflows, AirPrint, Mopria, and modern security standards — fine as a workhorse refurb in the $1,000-1,500 range, not a primary device for new installs. Discontinued — buy refurbished only.
