Konica Minolta bizhub 362 Multifunction Printer

The Konica Minolta bizhub 362 is a floor-standing B&W A3 multifunction printer for workgroups of 20-40 people that need tabloid-size mono output and color scanning. It runs at 36 ppm B&W on letter/A4 (18 ppm on 11x17/A3) with a first-copy-out around 4.5 seconds and a 30-second warm-up. The monthly duty cycle is rated at 175,000 pages — most installs we've sold sit between 4,000 and 12,000 pages, well within reasonable wear. Standard paper input is two 500-sheet drawers plus a 150-sheet bypass for 1,150 sheets; max capacity is 3,650 sheets with the optional PC-208 or PC-409 cabinets. Print resolution is 1800 x 600 dpi equivalent at 256 grayscale shades. The 8.5-inch color touchscreen handles scan-to-email and scan-to-folder workflows reasonably well for its era, though it feels a couple generations behind today's tablet panels. Color scanning runs up to 70 ipm at 300 dpi via the standard DF-621 100-sheet reversing ADF, with destinations to email, FTP, SMB, USB, internet fax, and HDD User Box (User Box requires HD-516 hard drive option). Auto duplex print and copy are standard. Finishing options include FS-527 50-sheet stapler, FS-529 inner finisher, and SD-509 60-page booklet maker. The thing buyers regret: most useful features (User Box, encrypted PDF, OCR, scan-to-USB) require the HD-516 hard drive and UK-203 memory upgrade.
