The Konica Minolta bizhub C364e is a floor-standing A3 color laser multifunction for workgroups of 20-50 people that need tabloid-size color output, color scanning, and finishing options. It runs at 36 ppm in both color and B&W on letter/A4 (18 ppm on 11x17/A3), with a first-copy-out of 7.7 seconds color and 5.9 seconds B&W, an 18-second warm-up, and a 120,000-page monthly duty cycle. Most installs we've sold sit between 5,000 and 15,000 pages a month with 20-40% color split. Standard paper input is two 500-sheet drawers plus a 150-sheet bypass; max capacity is 3,650 sheets with the optional PC-110, PC-210, or PC-410 cabinets. Print resolution is 1800 x 600 dpi equivalent or true 1200 x 1200 dpi at 256 shades per pixel. The 9-inch INFO-Palette multi-touch screen is the standout — swipe, pinch, and drag-and-drop that operators trained on tablets pick up immediately. Color scanning runs up to 80 ipm simplex via the standard DF-624 reversing ADF, or 160 ipm single-pass duplex with the optional DF-701. Destinations include email, SMB, FTP, USB, WebDAV, User Box, and Scan-to-Me/Home. Optional Fiery IC-414 image controller adds graphics-intensive workflow capability. The thing buyers regret: most of the high-value features (PDF/A, OCR, encrypted PDF, native barcode) sit behind LK-series i-Option licenses sold separately. Discontinued — buy refurbished or move to the i-Series C360i or C361i successors.
