It prints and copies up to 65 ppm at letter (32 ppm at 11x17), scans at 140 ipm simplex / 280 ipm duplex via the standard 300-sheet single-pass dual-scan ADF, and is rated for a 250,000-page monthly max duty cycle. First page out is 2.8 seconds — fastest in the sub-family. Standard paper capacity is 1,150 sheets across two trays plus a 150-sheet bypass, expandable to 6,650 sheets with the LU-302 or LU-207 high-capacity unit. The 10.1-inch tilt touchscreen with smartphone-style UI runs the same Konica Minolta MarketPlace apps as every other i-Series. Standard connectivity is Gigabit Ethernet and USB 2.0; Wi-Fi (UK-221) and Super G3 fax (FK-514) are optional. Note one quirk: the FS-533 inner finisher and PK-519 punch kit are NOT compatible with the 650i — only the larger FS-539, FS-540, and FS-540SD finishers fit.
