Konica Minolta bizhub C452

The Konica Minolta bizhub C452 is an A3 color MFP at 45 ppm in color and B&W, sized for mid-size offices doing 20,000 to 50,000 pages a month. Functionally close to the C454, but with the older operator panel and slightly older firmware base. Standard automatic duplex, scan-to-email/FTP/SMB/USB. Optional fax, optional finisher with staple/punch, optional saddle-stitch booklet maker, optional large-capacity tray. The thing buyers regret most: under-speccing the paper bank. The base configuration tops out around 1,150 sheets — fine for 15K monthly volume, painful at 35K+. Add the LCT or you'll babysit it. Same caveat as the rest of the C400-series legacy line — it's a reliable engine when maintained, parts are still around, toner is reasonably available, but it's no longer current. The newer C454 and C454e generation gives you a better touchscreen and tighter security for similar money on the off-lease market. Best fit for the C452 is matching an existing fleet or replacing a failed unit where downtime cost trumps UX upgrade. Brand new, look at the C450i.
