Lexmark C925 Series

The Lexmark C925 Series is a compact A3 color laser that prints 30 ppm in both black and color, with first page out around 9-11 seconds, 1,200 dpi resolution, and a 200,000-page rated duty cycle (2,500-10,000 pages a month is the recommended workload). Standard input is three trays totaling 450 sheets, expandable with a 2,100-sheet drawer. Memory is 256 MB on an 800 MHz processor (expandable to 1,280 MB). It handles A3, Ledger, Legal, Letter, and custom sheets, with toner yields of 8,500 pages black and 7,500 pages color — which is decent but not in the high-yield league of the larger C-series. It's a single-function printer with Gigabit Ethernet, USB 2.0, and optional wireless, plus a 4.3-inch color touchscreen. The catch: it's optimized for departments that occasionally need A3, not high-volume color shops. If you regularly print color above 8,000 pages a month, the CS820 or CX825 will pencil out better on cost-per-page and speed. If you never need A3, the C740 saves money and is faster.
