Lexmark CX430 Series

The Lexmark CX430 Series (CX431adw) is a desktop A4 color laser MFP built for small offices of 3-10 people that need print, copy, scan, and fax in one box without a floor-standing footprint. It runs 26 ppm in both black and color, has a 250-sheet main tray plus single-sheet bypass (expandable to 750 with the optional 550-sheet drawer), and is rated for a 75,000-page monthly duty cycle (Lexmark recommends staying between 800 and 6,500 pages/month for sane toner economics). The 50-sheet single-pass duplex ADF scans up to 96 images per minute, which is the main reason buyers pick this over the older CX417 — that machine had a reversing ADF that doubled scan time on two-sided originals. Wi-Fi 802.11ac is standard (not an accessory), Gigabit Ethernet and USB 2.0 are included, and the steel frame plus long-life imaging unit means this is a 5-7 year machine, not a 2-year disposable. The thing buyers regret: the 2.8-inch LCD touch panel. It works for basic scan-to-email and copy jobs, but if your team runs scan-to-SharePoint or complex network workflows, the small screen gets old fast. For that, look at the CX625 with the 7-inch touchscreen instead.
