Lexmark CX520 Series

The Lexmark CX520 Series (CX522ade) is a desktop A4 color laser MFP for small offices of 5-15 people that need 35-ppm color print, copy, scan, and fax without paying for the CX625's bigger ADF and touchscreen. It holds 250 sheets in the standard tray plus single-sheet bypass (expandable to 1,450 with optional 550-sheet drawers), is rated for an 85,000-page monthly duty cycle, and Lexmark recommends 1,500-5,000 pages/month for sane toner economics. Print resolution is 1200 x 1200 dpi for black and 4800 CQ for color, with PANTONE calibration in-driver. The 50-sheet ADF is reversing-duplex, not single-pass, so two-sided scans run at about half the speed of the CX625. The 4.3-inch color touchscreen handles scan-to-email and basic network workflows but feels cramped if you run Lexmark eSF apps daily. The thing buyers regret: scanning bottlenecks. If your team scans more than a few two-sided documents a day, the CX625 with the 100-sheet single-pass ADF is worth the upgrade. For copy-heavy offices that scan only occasionally, the CX522 is the right machine at a lower price.
