The Lexmark CX860de is an A4 color laser MFP for departments and central copy rooms serving 60-150 people that need 60-ppm color throughput, a 350,000-page monthly duty cycle, and a 150-sheet single-pass duplex ADF. It holds 650 sheets standard (expandable to 4,500), pairs a 1.6 GHz quad-core controller with 2 GB of RAM standard, and Lexmark recommends 5,000-50,000 pages/month. First page out is 6.5 seconds in both black and color, and the single-pass DADF scans two-sided originals at full speed. The 10-inch e-Task touchscreen handles kiosk workflows, multi-language UIs, scan-to-SharePoint, held jobs, and full Workpath app deployments. Finishing options include staple, booklet, and stapler/stacker. The thing buyers regret: assuming this does A3. It does not — letter/legal only. If your team needs 11x17 tabloid output, the CX920, CX930, or CX940 is the right call (and the chassis is bigger). For high-volume A4 color in a copy-room install, the CX860de is the top of Lexmark's CX-series lineup — anything heavier than this is the CX900 series with floor-standing chassis and tabloid support.
