Lexmark MX620 Series

The Lexmark MX620 series (MX622ade) is a mono laser MFP for small offices and workgroups of 5-25 that print 2,000-15,000 pages a month and want desktop footprint with workgroup speed. It prints and copies at up to 50 ppm, scans through a 100-sheet dual-pass duplex ADF, and is rated for a 175,000-page monthly duty cycle (Lexmark recommends 2,000-20,000/month). Standard input is 650 sheets (550-sheet tray + 100-sheet multipurpose feeder), expandable to 2,300 with optional 550-sheet trays. The 1.2 GHz quad-core processor with 2 GB standard memory, 7-inch color touchscreen, and optional integrated stapler are the things you don't usually get on a desktop MFP this size. Standard connectivity is Gigabit Ethernet plus USB 2.0 front and rear; Wi-Fi is optional via MarkNet N8372. The thing buyers regret: scanning two-sided contracts all day on the dual-pass ADF — it works, but you give up speed compared to the single-pass DADF on the MX722. For pure print + occasional duplex scan at 50 ppm in a desktop footprint with full Lexmark security and Cloud Services, the MX622ade is the workgroup mono pick.
