The Xerox AltaLink C8130 with high-capacity tandem tray is the entry-speed model in the AltaLink C8100 color tabloid family — a floor-standing A3 color laser MFP built for workgroups of 15 to 50 users that need in-house 11x17 color but don't need 45+ ppm. It prints and copies up to 30 ppm in both color and black, scans at 82 ppm simplex / 141 ipm duplex from the 130-sheet single-pass DADF, and is rated for a 90,000-page monthly duty cycle. The high-capacity tandem tray configuration gives you 3,140 sheets standard across two 520-sheet adjustable trays plus an 867+1,133 sheet HCTT — expandable to 6,140 with the optional 3,000-sheet HCF. The 10.1" tablet-like color touchscreen runs the same ConnectKey stack (Workflow Central, App Gallery, Fleet Orchestrator) as the larger C8145/C8155/C8170. Security is enterprise-grade: Trusted Boot, Trellix Embedded Control whitelisting, Common Criteria, FIPS 140-3, McAfee ePO and Cisco ISE integration. Connectivity is Gigabit Ethernet plus USB 2.0 standard; Wi-Fi/Wi-Fi Direct is an optional kit. Buyers regret: paying for a 30-ppm tabloid color MFP when their actual volume fits a desktop A4 color MFP. If you print under 1,500 pages a month, look at the VersaLink C505 instead — same color quality, smaller footprint, less money.
