The Xerox AltaLink C8135 with high-capacity tandem tray is a floor-standing A3 color laser MFP built for workgroups of 20 to 60 users that print high A4/letter volume and want fewer paper reloads. It prints and copies up to 35 ppm in color and black, scans at 82 ppm simplex / 141 ipm duplex from the 130-sheet single-pass DADF, and is rated for a 110,000-page monthly duty cycle. Standard paper capacity is 3,140 sheets across two 520-sheet adjustable trays plus an 867+1,133 sheet HCTT — expandable to 6,140 sheets with the optional 3,000-sheet HCF. The 10.1" tablet-like color touchscreen runs the ConnectKey stack (Workflow Central, App Gallery, Fleet Orchestrator) and supports the same enterprise security profile as every other AltaLink (Trusted Boot, Trellix Embedded Control, FIPS 140-3, Common Criteria, McAfee ePO and Cisco ISE integration). The HCTT-vs-four-tray-module decision: HCTT trades two SRA3-capable trays for one big 2,000-sheet A4 stack. Pick this when your A4/letter volume is the bottleneck; pick the four-tray module (id 1390) when you need four separately-loaded paper stocks. Buyers regret: getting the HCTT and then realizing they actually print mostly tabloid — the HCTT trays are letter/A4 only, so all your A3 work runs off Trays 1, 2, or the bypass.
