The Xerox VersaLink C505 is a 43 ppm color A4 MFP that sits between the C405 and C605: print, copy, scan, fax, integrated duplex on print and scan, support for 1,200 x 2,400 dpi color, Wi-Fi, Ethernet, and USB connectivity, and the 7-inch tablet-style touchscreen running ConnectKey apps. Recommended monthly load is around 3,000-7,500 color pages. The honest catch: Xerox's marketing on this model is thin (the spec sheet I have is light on hard numbers), so verify standard memory, RAM, ADF size, and duty cycle from current Xerox documentation before committing. The 43 ppm speed is real but in real-world office use the gap between the C405 (35 ppm) and C605 (53 ppm) is narrow enough that the C505 sometimes feels like a middle option that's hard to justify. Best fit: 15-30 person offices that have outgrown the C405 but don't yet need the C605's higher capacity.
