The Xerox WorkCentre 5865 is a 65 ppm A3 monochrome MFP from the 5800 series, sized for enterprise departments and shared print rooms running 150,000-250,000 pages monthly. Duplex DADF feeds two-sided originals in one pass, output runs 1200 x 1200 dpi, paper handling around 2,100 sheets expands via high-capacity feeder, and finishing options cover Office Finisher LX and High-Volume Finisher with stapling, hole punch, and booklet making. Optional Wi-Fi alongside Ethernet and USB. Security covers 802.1x, SSL, SNMPv3, AES encryption, and Secure Print. The regret on this machine: the 5800 line is discontinued and the AltaLink B8065 is the current equivalent — at enterprise volumes the support gap matters, so price out both paths before committing to refurbished hardware. Toner cartridge yield runs in the 50,000-page range and ConnectKey app support adds connectors for Box, Dropbox, Google Drive, and similar cloud destinations. Scan-to-email, scan-to-folder, and scan-to-cloud are standard, with secure release print available via optional card readers.
