The Xerox WorkCentre 6515/DNI is the wireless-included version of the WorkCentre 6515 color laser multifunction printer — same engine as the 6515/DN with the 497K16750 wireless adapter pre-installed and bundled. It prints at 30 ppm color and black on letter, copies at 21 cpm mono / 13 cpm color, scans single-pass duplex through a 50-sheet DADF (37 ipm mono / 21 ipm color), and includes automatic 2-sided print and scan, fax, and a 5-inch capacitive color touchscreen. Standard paper capacity is 300 sheets (250-sheet Tray 1 plus 50-sheet bypass), expandable to 850 with the optional 550-sheet feeder. Monthly duty cycle is 50,000 pages with Xerox's recommended throughput around 4,000 pages. Connectivity is Gigabit Ethernet, USB 3.0, Wi-Fi 802.11n and Wi-Fi Direct standard. Print resolution is up to 1200 x 2400 dpi with PostScript 3 standard. The intent of the DNI configuration is small offices that don't have an Ethernet drop where the device needs to live, or want AirPrint/Mopria over Wi-Fi from day one. The thing buyers regret: spending the DNI premium when the device sits next to a wired drop. If your install is wired-first, the 6515/DN is the same machine without the wireless adapter and slightly cheaper. Only starter toners ship in the box, so plan for a replacement order at install.
