The Xerox WorkCentre 7655 is a 55 ppm B&W / 40 ppm color A3 multifunction from the older 7600 series, sized for enterprise departments that need tabloid color output. Print, copy, scan, optional fax with duplex DADF, output 600 x 600 dpi enhanced to 2400, and paper handling around 2,140 sheets expandable via high-capacity feeder. Optional finishing covers Office Finisher LX, Advanced Office Finisher, and Professional Finisher with booklet making, stapling, and hole punch. Wired Ethernet and USB. Security includes Secure Print, 802.1x, and SSL. The regret on this machine: the 7600 series is two generations old — 600 x 600 imaging looks dated next to current 1200 x 2400 dpi units, and parts pipelines are thin. Only buy as a refurb with toner locked for 18 months and a fleet that already runs 7600-series. Toner cartridge yield runs in the 20,000-page range color and 50,000 mono. The 7600 series predates ConnectKey 2.0 and current AirPrint, so mobile printing requires a print server bridge. The legacy Xerox touchscreen interface is functional but visibly dated.
