The Xerox WorkCentre 7835 is a 35 ppm color A3 multifunction from the 7800 series, sharing the chassis with the 7830 and 7845 with a faster engine. Print, copy, scan, optional fax with duplex DADF, output 1200 x 2400 dpi color, paper handling around 1,140 sheets standard expandable to 5,140 via optional trays. Optional finishing covers Office Finisher LX, Advanced Office Finisher, and the Production Ready Booklet Maker. Wired Ethernet and USB, optional Wi-Fi. Security includes Secure Print, 802.1x, AES encryption, McAfee Embedded Control, and SNMPv3. The regret on this machine: 7800 series is end-of-life — AltaLink C8035 is the supported equivalent. The 7835 is workable as a refurb with 18-24 months of toner committed, but lacks current AirPrint and Mopria pipelines. Toner cartridge yield runs in the 15,000-page range color and 30,000 mono. ConnectKey app support covers Box, Dropbox, Google Drive, and similar cloud destinations. Optional card readers handle secure release print, and Walk-Up Authentication is included.
