The Xerox WorkCentre 7855 is a 55 ppm B&W / 50 ppm color A3 multifunction from the 7800 series, sized for enterprise departments doing high-volume tabloid color. Print, copy, scan, optional fax with duplex DADF, output 1200 x 2400 dpi color, paper handling around 2,180 sheets standard expandable via high-capacity feeder. Optional finishing covers Office Finisher LX, Advanced Office Finisher, and the Production Ready Booklet Maker. Wired Ethernet and USB, optional Wi-Fi. Security includes Secure Print, 802.1x, AES encryption, McAfee Embedded Control, and SNMPv3. The regret on this machine: 7800 series is end-of-life — at 55/50 ppm in an enterprise context AltaLink C8055 is worth the price gap for current security updates and AirPrint support. The 7855 only makes sense as a sharp refurb with 24-month toner locked. Toner cartridge yield runs in the 25,000-page range color and 50,000 mono. ConnectKey app support covers Box, Dropbox, Google Drive, and similar cloud destinations. Optional card readers handle secure release print, and Walk-Up Authentication is included.
