Xerox WorkCentre 7970i

The Xerox WorkCentre 7970i is a 70 ppm color A3 multifunction from the 7900i series — same chassis as the 7970 with the 'i' configuration adding ConnectKey services and tighter cloud integration. Print, copy, scan, optional fax with duplex DADF, output 1200 x 2400 dpi color, paper handling around 2,180 sheets standard expandable via high-capacity feeder. Optional finishing covers Office Finisher LX, Advanced Office Finisher, and the Production Ready Booklet Maker. Wired Ethernet, USB, optional Wi-Fi. Security includes Secure Print, 802.1x, AES encryption, McAfee Embedded Control, and SNMPv3. The regret on this machine: 7900i is end-of-life — AltaLink C8170 carries forward the ConnectKey workflow with current security and cloud connector updates. The 7970i refurbs are workable but the ConnectKey gallery and connectors are frozen at end-of-support state. Toner cartridge yield runs in the 30,000-page range color and 70,000 mono. The 'i' configuration includes ConnectKey 2.0 with the Xerox App Gallery for cloud connectors and workflow add-ons. Optional card readers handle secure release print.
