Lexmark CS430 Series

The Lexmark CS430 Series (current shipping config: CS431dw) is a compact desktop color laser printer for home offices and small businesses of 2-8 people printing 500 to 3,500 pages a month. It runs 26 ppm in both black and color at 4800 Color Quality with auto duplex and 802.11ac Wi-Fi standard. The 2.8-inch LCD touch panel is the main upgrade over the CS331dw — same chassis, same supplies, same 251-sheet input, but with a touchscreen for scan-to-X workflow setup and quick copy operations. Paper handling is fixed at 251 sheets (250-sheet tray + single-sheet manual feed) with no expansion options. Connectivity is Gigabit Ethernet, USB 2.0 Type B, and Wi-Fi standard. At 9.6 x 16.2 x 15.5 inches and 35 lb, it shares the CS331dw's small footprint. The thing buyers regret: expecting it to outwork its rated speed. First page out is 11 seconds and the engine is sized for occasional bursts — print sustained 200+ page jobs daily and you'll wear it out faster than the warranty likes. For higher volume, the CS531dw is the step up.
