The Xerox VersaLink C600/DN is a desktop color laser printer for workgroups of 10-25 users that need fast color (55 ppm) in-house but don't need scan, copy, or fax. It prints up to 55 ppm in both black and color (letter, long-edge feed), drops to 45 ppm on legal, and supports automatic two-sided printing standard. First page out is 4.7 seconds black / 5.1 seconds color, resolution is 1200 x 2400 dpi, and it's rated for a 120,000-page monthly duty cycle (Xerox recommends up to 17,000). Standard paper capacity is 700 sheets across the 150-sheet bypass and 550-sheet Tray 1, expandable to 3,250 with up to four 550-sheet feeders or the 2,000-sheet HCI. The C600 series adds optional finishing the C500 doesn't get: a 500-sheet finisher with 50-sheet stapler (097S04952) and a 4-bin mailbox (097S04953). Connectivity is Gigabit Ethernet plus USB 3.0 standard; Wi-Fi/NFC are an optional kit. The 5-inch capacitive color touchscreen runs Xerox ConnectKey apps. The thing buyers regret: paying for 55 ppm and using maybe 20% of it. If you print under 1,000 pages a month, get a smaller printer. If you need 11x17 or scan/copy, look at the C8000 or C605 MFP.
