The Lexmark CX960 / CX950 Series (current shipping configs: CX961se, CX963se) is a floor-standing A3 color laser MFP for departments of 30-100 people printing and copying 7,000 to 50,000 pages a month in tabloid, SRA3, and 12x18 sizes. The CX963se runs 55 ppm in both black and color at 1200 x 1200 dpi with first page out at 7.1 seconds black / 8.2 color and integrated duplex on print and scan. Paper handling is 700 sheets standard (550-sheet tray + 150-sheet multipurpose feeder), expandable to 4,750 sheets with optional input modules. The 300-sheet single-pass duplex ADF runs at production-floor speeds. The 10.1-inch color touchscreen handles complex scan-to-X workflows and Lexmark Cloud Fleet Management. Connectivity is Gigabit Ethernet, USB 2.0, and 802.11a/b/g/n/ac Wi-Fi standard. The thing buyers regret: not budgeting for the in-house finisher when they need stapled or hole-punched output. The CX963se chassis takes optional staple, hole-punch, and booklet finishers but they're separate line items — verify the SKU at quote time, not after install.

The drum unit (DR810) is separate and usually lasts 15,000 to 30,000 pages before it needs replacing. At a typical small office volume, expect to change it once every 2 to 4 years.
